Too little oxygen
Healing cells need oxygen to fight bacteria, build collagen and grow new blood vessels. Poor circulation can leave wound tissue starved of it.
Advanced wound care
Invitran is a wound care company focused on the wounds that don’t heal on their own. We build on the science of how the body repairs itself, to help more wounds close and more patients get back to their lives.
Most wounds heal on their own. Chronic wounds don’t, and they usually face more than one barrier at once.

Excess fluid and swelling slow repair and damage surrounding skin. Managing the wound environment is a cornerstone of modern wound care.
Chronic wounds often get stuck in the inflammatory stage, where infection and debris keep the body from moving on to rebuilding.
Our focus
A dressing protects a wound. But for a chronic wound, protection alone often isn’t enough. The wound bed itself needs the right conditions to rebuild.
Invitran is developing wound care technologies grounded in that idea, working with clinicians to bring better options to patients in hospitals, clinics and at home.
Healing follows a predictable sequence. Chronic wounds often get stuck in the inflammation stage.
Stage 1
Bleeding stops as platelets form a clot that seals the wound.
Stage 2
Immune cells clear debris and bacteria, a process that depends heavily on oxygen.
Stage 3
New tissue, collagen and blood vessels form to fill the wound.
Stage 4
Over weeks to months, the new tissue matures and gains strength.
Chronic, complex and acute wounds that need more than standard care, including:
